Test 1 Wed Sep 23 on 3.5, 3.6,
3.7 & 4.7
As stated in class, no
formula sheet will be supplied for the
test. For the inverse trigonometric
functions you should know the definitions,
graphs, domain restrictions and derivative rules
for arcsin(x), arccos(x) and arctan(x).
Derivative rules and domain restrictions for
arcsec(x), arccsc(x) and arccot(x) will be
supplied if needed.
For the hyperbolic functions, you should know
the definitions, graphs and derivatives rules for
sinh(x), cosh(x) and tanh(x), and also know that
sech(x)=1/cosh(x), csch(x)=1/sinh(x) and
coth(x)=1/tanh(x).
