Internet links

These links are meant only as a starting point for your research.  Before you begin it is imperative that you read some of the material on how to assess the quality of websites.  Simply because material is found on the internet does not necessarily make it accurate, nor useful, nor it is necessarily primary material which is to be the core of the research paper. It is also imperative that you know how to cite the internet sources correctly in both your references and your bibliography.  For further information in these areas see the related sites under the Writing and Research link for this course.

The following sites are some of the more useful as starting points for research.  This is by no means an exhaustive list, and many of the sites listed are particularly good in providing links to other related sites.  This list will be added to throughout the term, so remember to update this page regularly.
