1. In looking at tonight's readings, what were the issues which motivated the militancy and strike action amongst workers in the 1930s?
2. What is "the gap" between promise and performance of industrial unionism during the 1930s?
3. What was the relationship of women to the unionization movement of the 1930s? 
4. What 'gaps' can be discerned in the coverage of the New Deal?  Who remained outside of the assistance, and why?
5. What is the connection to, or concern with, communism in terms of labour during this period?
