Hamburgh, Aug. 24. The Empress of Russia has given orders for a maritime voyage to the East Indies. The object of this voyage is to establish a commercial intercourse with that part of the world, and it is her Majesty’s intention to send out an historiographer, an astronomer, a botanist, and a draftsman; the Sieur Pallas is to make choice of these men of genius.
