  • Henry Hudson  Alexander Mackenzie    Samuel Champlain  Jacques Cartier
  • A report card on your explorer.  What is his name? Where is he from? Has he travelled before?  If so, where?  What are his reasons for this expedition?  Include your own created illustration of your explorer on your report card. Collect your data then go to Inspiration to web your ideas, before you write.
  • Henry Hudson Alexander Mackenzie Samuel Champlain Jacques Cartier
  • What kind of terrain did you traverse?  What is the land like over which you traveled?  Did you stay on board ship, walk many miles over mountains, or canoe with the voyageurs? Go to Kidpix and draw the kind of landscape you think your explorer saw. Write at least two sentences describing the terrain.
