Via this page, you may join the SAA or renew your membership for 2002.
Notes:
- You can determine your membership status by examining the mailing label of the print copy of your January SAA Bulletin. If the mailing label bears a "02" in the upper right-hand corner, then you have already paid membership dues for 2002. Dues are assessed by the calendar, not the academic year. If your mailing label does not read "02," your dues are now payable.
- All registrants for the 2002 meeting must pay dues for 2002.
- The online forms that follow are optimized for use with Microsoft Explorer, 5.0 or higher.
SAA members receive SAA mailings for the year, subscribe to area journals at the SAA’s discounted rates (these include Shakespeare Quarterly, Shakespeare Studies, Shakespeare Survey, and Medieval and Renaissance Drama in England, as well as the Shakespeare Newsletter), vote in the annual election for SAA officers, and attend the annual conference.

A Note on the Payment of Fees: As the SAA works toward conducting more of its business online, a chief concern is member security. Over the coming months, we will install a password system to protect member privacy. We also ask members to review the proposed Constitutional amendments included with the January 2002 Bulletin, which allow for electronic forms of communication in establishing membership status.
Any member completing the online forms can be assured of the prompt processing of membership and conference registration information. Payment will be acknowledged by the prompt return of a hard-copy receipt by conventional mail.
