Stephen Guppy

Born in Nanaimo, B.C., Canada, Stephen Guppy holds Bachelor of Arts and Master of Arts degrees from the University of Victoria, where he also completed a B.C. Teacher's Certificate.  He teaches Poetry and Fiction workshops in the Department of Creative Writing and Journalism at Malaspina University-College, and he has served as Department Chair and Area Chair for Fine and Performing Arts.  He is married to the painter and writer Nelly Kazenbroot and has two children, Sebastian and Izabel.
