CHAR: A field companion extraordinaire!

I maintain active interests in many outdoor pursuits, including SCUBA-diving, hiking, cycling and fishing. Wilderness canoeing and camping have always been a primary interest.

During the summer of 1995 my brother and I went on a month long 750 km wilderness canoe trip on the Richardson River and Lake Athabasca in Northern Alberta. This experience has whetted our appetites for continued wilderness adventures and exploration of the rich biological diversity of the North.
