Lab 1: Insecticides
Prepare a "Fact Sheet" (a.k.a. Information Leaflet) that outlines the various categories of insecticides and then provides an in-depth look at one insecticide. There are various schemes for categorizing insecticides. You should examine a few schemes before deciding how you will group them in your leaflet. For each category you should outline:

| unintended damages |
| present acceptance/use |
How you cover your in-depth coverage of one insecticide is up to you. The two parts should be (roughly) equally weighted.
Your target audience is the 'informed lay person' (e.g. a second year science student at VIU).
Your report should be 500+ words and contain images, diagrams, tables, as appropriate. If you work in pairs then the paper should be ~750 words. It is expected that you have at least six sources of information. Be sure to properly cite all sources. Helpful hints are provided for citing sources.
