Check out our social events which are included with your registration, and that we hope you plan to attend.

Presentation rooms will be equipped with a PowerPoint projector and laptop.  Please advise us to what other equipment needs you have.

We have asked presenters to provide us with their presentations ahead of time to facilitate preloading, and assist with the smooth transition of presentations.   We invite presenters to email their presentations to cclr11@mala.bc.ca.  Please bring a back up cd with you.

If presenters choose not to send their presentations ahead of time, we invite you and would recommend that you bring with you your presentation loaded on 2 cds (1 for you, 1 for us) in IBM compatible format containing your presentation so that we may preload prior to your presentation.  Thank you!

A conference program containing all specific information will be provided to all delegates upon registration.

Delegates have now been informed by email as to the status of their abstracts.  Hard copies and reviewers' comments will be sent by regular mail this week.   If you do not receive confirmation by February 20th, please contact us @ cclr11@mala.bc.ca 

Registration system is undergoing final pilot testing and will be on line by February 11th.  Thank you for your patience.

There are a number of additions and announcements to make:

Please see our Draft Conference Program, Keynote information and registration fee structure which are now posted.

The Congress will be a perfect opportunity to profile case studies in recreation and tourism management that demonstrate the link between research and practice.  The Congress organizers would like to make available to all delegates, a volume of case studies that demonstrate a link between research and practice.  To this end, this call for case studies is attempting to locate researchers or practitioners that would like to share written cases for inclusion in the volume.

 The call for case studies has been extended to January 30, 2005.

Abstract review process and confirmation will be finalized by January 30th, 2005. Thank you.

The abstract submission date has been extended to November 15, 2004.

The French Call for Papers, Appel de Communications, is now posted.   We have also added a Practitioners page with a Call for Educational Sessions.

September 22, 2004:

We have amended abstract submission requirements.  Please review the updated call for papers, noting that abstract submissions may be attached as a word document and submitted via email to CCLR11@mala.bc.ca.  Alternatively, for those who do not have email, we have provided a mailing address for regular mail abstract submissions.
